About Les Sheaffer

Les and Wife Teri

Les is a full-time professional carpenter with over 20 years of experience. Les started in the trades as a laborer but rapidly moved to apprentice carpenter and journeymen carpenter for residential and commercial companies. Les was given his first management position as a foreman for Alaska Homes Incorporated in Anchorage Alaska and was promoted to Vice-president of Alaska Homes Incorporated prior to moving to the east coast.

Moving to the Lehigh Valley in early 1995 Les founded Sheaffer Custom Contracting and operated as a sole proprietor building his business from the ground up and gaining loyal clients along the way. In 2007 Sheaffer Custom Contracting became a Limited Liability Company, registered with the Pennsylvania Department of State and fully insured as a general contractor. Les specializes in a variety of carpentry related trades and techniques and is a master carpenter with extensive framing and trim carpentry experience. Les's resume of skills also include door and window installation, custom kitchen and bathroom design and installation, drywall and painting as well as ceramic, stone and porcelain tile, laminate flooring and a host of other building related services. SCC also provides flexible payment options, accepting all major credit cards, allow customers to put a part or the entire contract on the card of their choice, without any extra fees incurred to the customer.

Les's interests outside the remodeling business include spending time with his wife and daughter, archery, listening to Jazz, wristwatch collecting and reading. Les also has a son serving in the United States Air Force.
